Missing book found :)

When I was working on curriculum yesterday I had to go in the library office to make a phone call.  As I was walking out I saw Monster by Walter Dean Myers sitting on top of a pile of books.  I didn’t think much of it at first, but then it dawned on me that it was missing some of the library labels.  I went back in there before I left for the day to look at it more closely, and YES!  it’s my copy!

One of my freshmen borrowed it and lost it in the fall.  Normally I wouldn’t be too annoyed about losing it, but I’ve had to replace this book twice already!  I don’t know what it is about Monster, but I lose it almost every year.  Thank goodness it was found!

It’s an awesome book, by the way 🙂

  1. Megan Reider says:

wow ! Im glad you found your Book Mrs. Anderson . 🙂 how is your summer going so far ?

  2. I bet it is the demographics of students that read that book. The people that tend to read that book maybe are more irresponsible or prone to losing things…maybeeeeeeee.

    • Mrs. Andersen says:

I think it’s more likely that because it’s easier to read I hand it to boys who claim they won’t read. They end up reading it of course, but one time it was lost in a house fire and this copy was lost in a locker of doom or something.

I love comments!
