A great Halloween read would be Dark Justice by Donnie Light or Morpheus Road: The Light by DJ MacHale. Both are awesome and spooky.

Any of the Harry Potter books, but the first one comes to mind particularly. Thanks for the giveaway!

I’ve been reading a lot of romance lately and nothing comes to mind that was scary. So I need to think back to my highschool days when I was in to scary books. Were talking over 10 years here. :) I would have to say IT, Pet Cemetery, Christine, Carrie and Cujo. Anything by Stephen King. I love Dean Koontz, but his books never gave me the creeps like Stephen King did, I’d say he is the master of CREEP

Stephen King is the master of creepy, second only to Poe. “The Black Cat” is probably the best Halloween read. I haven’t read it in a while, but I remember being pretty creeped out by Piers Anthony’s Firefly.
