Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine. It’s designed for bloggers to spotlight the upcoming releases that they simply can’t wait to read.
First, I’m sorry I’ve been so repetitive in my posts lately. I simply haven’t had the energy to write reviews since spring break ended, but I’m really trying to get over that because I have some GREAT books to review. I’ve been dragging in general these last two weeks. I do love posting about cool upcoming books, however, so I guess it works itself out.
Second, is it weird that I’ve only read books by Amanda Grace even though that’s the pseudonym for Mandy Hubbard? It’s not that I’m not interested in the Mandy Hubbard authored books, but I’ve actually bought But I Love Him and In Too Deep. Just like her other books authored under her pseudonym, I’m looking forward to reading The Truth About You & Me.
P.S. How cute is the name Bennett! It’s been on my “if I ever have a boy” names list since my mom took care of a cute little boy named Bennett 🙂
Release Date: September 8th, 2013
Summary (From Goodreads):
Smart girls aren’t supposed to do stupid things.
Madelyn Hawkins is super smart. At sixteen, she’s so gifted that she can attend college through a special program at her high school. On her first day, she meets Bennet. He’s cute, funny, and kind. He understands Madelyn and what she’s endured—and missed out on—in order to excel academically and please her parents. Now, for the first time in her life, she’s falling in love.
There’s only one problem. Bennet is Madelyn’s college professor, and he thinks she’s eighteen—because she hasn’t told him the truth.
The story of their forbidden romance is told in letters that Madelyn writes to Bennet—both a heart-searing ode to their ill-fated love and an apology.
